Violin and viola teacher Greg Campbell received his Suzuki training at the Montreal Suzuki Institute, studying under Paule Barsalou, Artistic Director of the Guelph Suzuki School.

While completing his Master's degree Greg took string pedagogy courses with Prof. Bonnie Black, whose philosophy of an integrated approach has strongly influenced his teaching.

  He now draws on the best aspects of the Suzuki method, supplementing it with materials drawn from many other sources and methods.

Greg began playing the violin when he was six years old, learning in the Suzuki method for eight years. Upon entering McGill University Greg switched to viola, studying with Prof. Douglas McNabney.  He graduated with Bachelor's degrees in viola and in physicsHe completed his Master's degree at Boston University where he studied with Ed Gazouleas, associate principal viola of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

Greg moved to in 2006 Toronto. He will is currently pursuing an Artist Diploma at the Glenn Gould School at the Royal Conservatory of Music under Steven Dann.
